Behavioural ecologist, turned ML engineer.

I hold a PhD in behavioural ecology (James Cook University; published inAnimal Behaviour). For years I scored fish behaviour by hand, frame by frame: line crossings, feeding strikes, chases. AquaMind is the pipeline that does that automatically.

The behavioural-ecologist × ML-engineer combination is the point: I know what the behaviours mean and how they are measured in the field, not just how to detect a moving blob.
